Middle Eastern Interior Design Ideas

Located in the exclusive district of Malabata baie, Casablanca, the Hilton Tangier City Centre Hotel has double views: a panoramic one of the Mediterranean, as well as the Acharf neighbourhood, reminiscent of a traditional Moroccan village. In order to create a tranquil space in an emerging and busy city, the firm has designed the hotel with a balance between contemporary and ethnic Moroccan sensibilities.
The local craftsmanship has been a major influence in this project as is reflected in the designer’s personal reinterpretation of traditional Zellige pottery, along with traditional Moroccan textiles with geometric motifs and various contributions of local craftsmen such as brass and the use of Tadelakt coating. The colour palette is inspired by the desert, with hues of bone and sand. Materials such as Marquina, Pulpis and Ibiza marble, Titanium granite for tables and bars, solid wood for the floor and brass finished with Moroccan style textures such as hammering or brushing, characterise the project.
